shipping-update
Effective October 16, 2026
We've always believed the wine should be the story, not the freight. That's why shipping here has been simple: a flat $20 on most orders, and free on bigger ones.
We are going to be straight with you about why that's changing.
Shipping wine has become expensive. Carrier rates and fuel surcharges have climbed sharply, and wine is a stubborn thing to move. It's heavy, it has to be packed carefully, and every delivery needs an adult to sign for it. Today, getting a six-bottle box to the East Coast costs us about $60.
For a long time we absorbed most of that. On plenty of orders we charged little or nothing for shipping and paid the difference ourselves. A small business can only do that for so long.
So shipping is now priced by where it's going and how many bottles are in the box, and it never goes above $55. We still cover part of the cost on the biggest orders.
What it looks like now
- One bottle ships for $24 to $27, six bottles for $39 to $55, and twelve or more for $55.
- Orders of $400 or more ship free.
- New customers: your first order of 6 or more bottles ships free.
Ian held our prices as long as he could, and we're sorry to pass this on. We'll keep looking for ways to bring it down. Thank you for drinking wine with us.
